South of Portugal, in Alentejo, is the largest artificial lake in Europe: The Great Lake.
You can book a boat without permission at any time of the year, bridges, weekends, anniversaries and birthdays.
This area of Portugal is an ideal river destination for celebrations and is also very close to many cities in Spain.

If you have more free days and you feel like doing the complete tour, the Grande Lago offers you 250 square kilometers of route.
